Brand Experience Director (Global Sporting Event)
The Brand Experience Director will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Brand Experience for one of our clients projects delivering a programme for a global sporting event taking place in the US in 2026. The project encompasses the full lifecycle, from concept creation and planning through to design, build, and on-site delivery. This is a contract role from 12th Jan to 31st July 2026 and will be based in New York. We are only able to consider candidates living in or with accommodation in New York.
The role involves developing and delivering venue fit-outs, bespoke events, and leisure activities that align with each client’s strategic objectives, bringing their brands to life across multiple touchpoints. These brand experiences may form part of a wider hospitality programme or be delivered as stand-alone projects at some of the world’s most high-profile sporting events.
Key Responsibilities:
Creation of key project documents such as budgets and briefings
To oversee and sign off all project key documents – budgets, proposals, etc. with an overarching view of multiple project delivery
Create and Manage project budgets, resource planning, team scheduling and logistics
To lead the creation, planning and operational delivery of a variety of environments and brand experiences for client hospitality programmes and stand alone projects
To create and effectively manage a budget likely to be in excess of $10m
To manage key client relationships
To co-ordinate key stakeholder engagement and their involvement in major events
To manage design teams from concept creation through to detailed planning and technical implementation
To manage an internal iLUKA Collective team, including Project and Production Managers
To manage external consultants and suppliers including their identification and development
Develop training / operational manuals to ensure team has thorough knowledge of all procedures
Continual evaluation of work undertaken and management of activity on behalf of a client
Work with other members of the agency team to maximise supplier relationships both commercially and through excellence in delivery
Draw upon case history and industry best practice to deliver excellence in event overlay planning and delivery

Skills, Knowledge, Expertise:
Fluency in English. Additional languages would be advantageous.
Proven experience working in sports event management and / or experiential
Proven experience in the creative process
Experience in overlay, look and feel
Experience of managing multiple projects and teams
Significant project / production management experience including client management and delegation of tasks to a wider team
Previous evidence in the management of senior stakeholders in public and / or private sector
Knowledge of F&B
Experience in working with designers
Previous experience in the management of design/build projects
Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
Effective resource planning
Commercial acumen and budget management
Advanced IT skills
